I knew it was over when our first signing was announced. There was no planning to that and we just knew it was going to end badly. I didn’t expect it to go this badly but I guess even City have a way of surprising you.

I just cannot get my head around it. Walker and Bass maybe but the rest? Complete meh the lot of them.
I really can’t even begin to imagine what the other players must think when our captain goes on deadline day

 

I will definitely be there tonight. It’s easy to turn up when the team and winning are playing well. It’s now when the players need us most and I won’t let them down.

 

I would be aswell if I didn't have covid , I'll be at hgate (in the home end) amd I'll get to as msny games as possible as always, just don't see what a boycott will achieve!

 

So, we all know how this will work. Canavan has been sold, Songo'o moves to centre back and is promptly sent off after 20 minutes, totally exposing our awful transfer window where we weakened our central defence and didn't improve central defensive midfield.

We'll probably hang on for a draw though.

 

Hopefully Staunton gets a place on the bench. If not he might as well pack up now.

I'd love Staunton to get a chance but then again I don't want him coming in for half a match then being blamed and chucked on the bench again.

There is now a culture of fear in the team, fear can be good but also bad. Bad mainly because it make the players risk averse and they worry about making an error so no individuals put themselves out there to make a tackle of stop a cross and they just defer to dropping back to the penalty area. The kind of "I don't want to be the one to make a mistake" mentality.

Then with so many only on contract until the end of the year they lose interest and don't play for the manager because why should they? They'll get a contract elsewhere.

Went to watch Cougars v Hunslet on Sunday at the South Leeds Stadium. Cougars lost not a good performance Lovegrove the coach is another Adams. Good day out thought Good following from Keeley .
