I wouldn’t trust Sparks or Rupp to make an appointment, the next one I feel could send us down. I just hope someone with a real interest buys the club by the summer who can bring in his own manager and have a total clear out.

Having watched the match on I-Follow and listened to the post match interview with Adams it proves there are statistics and damn lies. How an earth can you count shots that sail half way up the Kop as attempts on goal?
The Orient keeper must have had his easiest match of the season .
I suggest Derek Adams makes an opticians appointment because his eyes are deceiving him.
The team plays like a minnow facing a Premier League team in the FA cup as mediocre opposition pass the ball in front of them.
Opponents know what to expect every match and yet he still talks about the play offs!!!!!

I think the team is capable of winning most games at this level but atrocious tactics and formation is holding them back, Lions led by a donkey springs to mind

So if the manager's only responsible to those two and the Associated directors have no input (what purpose do they serve then, apart from their annual subs) we ARE in a sorry state.

Yep. We need a DoF, and an Ambassador wouldn't go a miss.

Football people to make us feel like an actual football club, and not an unambitious business run from Germany.

The season is not written off yet
Under a half decent manager we could still scrape the play offs the league is that bad
The players surely should shoulder some of the blame and are capable of getting us there
Its the tactics that are totally wrong and a very very stubborn deluded manager who refuses to change is our downfall
get rid NOW take the players off the leash and you could well be surprised

So why don’t they just get a man on board who knows the actual running side of footballing matters ............. I ain’t gonna start pulling Sparks to bits on the business side because by the looks of the sponsorship he’s done a very good job but sadly he’s badly getting it wrong regarding the footballing side the most important bit ............. now surly week after week we have legends at the game folk with knowledge of the game folk with contacts at a lot of clubs surly one of them could come on board with regards to the footballing side .......... Jacko for instance he’s managed at this level he’s probably well thought through out the game so why not somebody like him ????

I agree we should have someone on side running the football matters, trying to create an identity. But we don’t…

The social media side of things is pretty good.

Credit where it's due and all that.

Now if only we knew what we were doing regarding our primary business

Didn’t Rahic disband our actual board? If so another mistake to allow that to happen under this ownership, not many new ideas and nobody to hold the leadership accountable. Our board is literally a German and a 30 year old having a chat on zoom…

What Sparks needs is a football advisor to help him, An older head experienced in the game and not a director of football but someone who has plenty of contacts in the game,

I think we have some good quality players. Its how the team is set to play narrow and everyone back for corners, no out let? How many teams counter attack from corners, not us we clear the ball and it just comes straight back.

everyone in the ground could see Crawley were going to score apart from Adams, it was classic kids in the playground playing attack and defence.

when we play two upfront we look like causing defences problems, with wingers even better. But all Adams wants is to play narrow and sit deep

    Why?

We haven't been able to attract or unearth any quality whatsoever. We probably just end up with another naff squad.
