Clayton takes the pressure off Cook because there's two outlets that Paudie can hoof it to.

Everyone has done well tackling and pressing but our passing is slow and ponderous. Not sure if its confidence or just a lack of natural passers in the middle of the pitch.

 

We should be out of sight already.

These are a right set of jokers. Second air kick in the box, and someone falls over claiming a penalty.

 

We've been miles better since the 15 min mark. On the front foot, pressing properly, played some good stuff and nearly scored 2 more goals, either of which would have been goal of the season contenders.

 

Been much better after the first 15 minutes, Forest Green would sell their own nans for a penalty cheats.

 

Well, we sure are not going to blame FGR if it is a draw or defeat!

It wasn't even a tackle. He totally missed the ball and fell over! Our lad didn't touch him. He just lost his balance and fell over.

Yer, their right back has been at it all game. I've noticed Paudie and someone else getting between him and the ref at times so it's not just him making his point.

 

I hope the ref sees past these cheating blues in the second half, great first half City.

 

Must have been a blind ref then he just kicked fresh air and fell over, the fact they appealed is cheating imo. In cricket they’d be warned for over appealing. The dive was another of their dirty little tricks.

 

And their 5 is in the refs ear constantly.
Nearly ended up in refs changing room he pestered him for that long.

 

Excellent first half. Should be three up. We've got them riled. Wouldn't be suprised if there's some nasty tackles from them in the second half. Hope we continue to control the game as we've done in the first half.
