Was giving the ref a mouthful straight after that yellow too. Thought he’d have learnt from Vaughan.

 

This ref is a joke give a dead ball kick when it was obviously a corner.

 

I think they've looked very poor.

We've been very poor and Cheltenham have been no better. Stupid from Devitt and looks very reckless everytime I've seen him.
The penalty was also a disgrace and I'm not sure how the ref was taken it by the most blantant dive you'll ever see.

 

They look neat and tidy where it doesn’t matter, but awful in front of goal. Even with 10 men we’ve a chance of holding on if the players show fight.

 

Devitt never was the brightest button in the box. A pity because we've at least shown a bit of intent to go forward.

 

Maybe Vaughan was a bad egg?
A lot of work to do in second half now but a big improvement from Mansfield

 

This is a big ask now second half, they have shown character first half but down to 10 men it will be a massive effort to keep all 3 points, but much better all round.

They had two they should have scored, but missed both.

I don’t just mean their simple misses, it’s picking the wrong ball in the final third all the time. They’ve had so much of the ball and done nothing with it except 2 shots.

They look good on the ball. Some nice interplay in the final third. Fortunately both chances the striker chose to go near post instead of across the keeper for a certain goal.

BRE looks a liability again. He’s gonna have to step up this half because I think he’s going to be busy.

 

Nobody can accuse him of being negative starting the half with mccartan and Connolly and Central midfield
