Please encourage your fans to read the match day guide on the City website. Today is more than just an end of season fixture.

I'm sure the good folk of Cumbria will respect and behave impeccably, unlike the City idiots who taunted the Northampton fans a few years ago.

I always have a bit of a biased view of Carlisle fans due to the vile behaviour of some of their fans when we played them away in the first game of the season following the fire.
It’s obviously 37 years ago and I know every club has its idiots but still can’t forget what some of them did that day.

Reads like a comment from the Viz top tips section.
'Carlisle fans, why not get round today's restrictions on alcohol being sold in the Bradford end by secreting bottles of lager on young children before entry. Be advantageous and have them wear an oversized coat with extra pocket ls in the lining for more carrying capacity.

    Gone are the days

Cornwall Road fish shop and where the filling station is at the top of Valley Parade there was Belle Vue fisheries.

I was brought up on them in the 50’s-60’s , happy days.

A sad world when your only choice is a two day old sausage roll in a two year old plastic wrapper.

I went to that match and cannot remember what they did to be honest.

I remember chatting with some friendly locals in the pub pre-match and no hint of trouble

It was some of their fans who were lighting matches and bits of paper and laughing.
Like I said earlier every team has its idiots but it was still so raw from only a few months previous that it left a really bad taste in the mouth.
They are all probably in their 50’s and 60’s now and no doubt regret what they did.

Hoping O'Donnell get a run out today , know he has had his troubles between the sticks , but he has been here while we have been going downhill fast , but think he deserves one last send off , sure he ain't getting a contract best of luck wherever he ends up

I hope we announce those leaving after the game like League One clubs did last week. No messing around this summer

    Agreed.

I'm a critic of the club on occasions but it's supporters..... Superb. This club needs to reward its support.

On the basis of 18k and 2k away fans subtracting 12.7k season ticket sales, that's 3,300 ad hoc BCFC sales

Also , that's over 5000 extra paying customers on the day £50,000 + for the club.

Andy, just realised this potentially will be the highest attendance of (a forgettable) season.

Previous best 17624...first home game of the season.

    Wow
