So, so, so much better, such an improvement from the dross under Stuart for his final games, winning every challenge, not pulling out (Wood taking that foul was heroic, definite red), chances to finish it, Novak spurned one, Cooke missed seventeen clear cut one on ones, Samuels had one from a super ball from Evans, that was really good and should have been 3 or 4-0 - save for the EXCELLENT save from ROD that saved us from dropping points.

Really good, really happy, there were periods where we lacked a final ball, but we got better at that the more and more space we had on the counter.

Well done those lads, WHAT'S THEIR NAMES' BRADFORD ARMY!

This league is wide open, ourselves and Barrow beating supposed top sides.

Play like this and if we go on a run the playoffs is still possible.

 

Thought Cambridge were poor but we were well organised.

This team is better than the Bradford City teams that took us to the brink of the non league in 2010-2012, they clearly still have fight in them and they aren't about to lay down and die. With a new manager in place and some solid recruitment in January we won't be looking over our shoulder nervously on the last day of the season.

I'd say one of the best preformances so far this season.. What a result for the team and Trueman!

 

Won't suprise me if they are now in contention for the managers job, such is our clubs way of thinking. As much as they've done great, two swallows don't make a summer (this is what I've been telling my Mrs for years), and i'm not sure that this is just the kick up the arse that normally happens when a manager gets sacked. We need someone with experience when those players heads have dropped.

Wonderful organisation so far though from the two stand in managers, and huge respect to them for providing a platform for the new manager to work with.

On another note, how good was Hoolahan. Head and shoulders above the rest of the team, and 38 years old! Shows how an experienced player can really still be a benefit for the club, if he's still got the legs (but not today).

 

We were organised and didn't give them chance to play. They couldn't get any passes forward. We blocked them and stopped them from playing.

Second half they changed their formation. Still only had one shot on goal!

We've played two free scoring teams in the last two games, two of the top scorers in the league and given almost zero chances!

Give the lads credit for having a plan and sticking to it. 4 points out of 6 in the last 2 games. Brilliant.

 

great performance under a proper, 21st century coaching team.

 

100 percent, obviously he didn't suit Stuart and something wasn't working, build the team round this lad for now and get a gaffer in that recognises his battling ability.
