Sacked at QPR initial mandate to introduce youth on a reduced budget ideal for Edin but would want too much wages

I thought about him. As well as commanding a high salary, he's way too much a character to work with Edin. Don't think they'd work well together at all.

Would be an interesting appointment. Big personality, some of his teams have played attractive football, lots of football league experience.

Sadly as mentioned above, I think he is probably out of our pay bracket.

Of course there's the linguistic issue, Rahic might be fluent in English but does he speak Wurzel?
As an aside Steve McLaren is tipped to replace Holloway, here's hoping eh?

Well Ian Holloways record would look good failed at QPR for introducing youth on a reduced budget and failed at Bradford City for the same ;).

Would be an interesting one but not sure would he move up north at this stage of his career?

    Plus isn’t his wife Ill?

Done a decent job at QPR. Reduced wage bill massively due to FFP and kept them afloat playing youth

I would be alright with Holloway. I think the chances of him coming to us is pretty slim though.

I love Holloway, he’s as mad as me. Martin Allen as head of football with him and we’d be laughing (at their combined lunacy)

Would love holloway, always rated him as a manager despite some uninspiring spells but also as a person, I feel like the fans could get behind a guy who's clearly a nutter and a character much more than some dour boring guy (like grayson)

Ian Holloway at Bradford City now that would be an interesting appointment.
Previous experience under a regime that everyone knows about, The Oystons say no more.
A real fans favourite where ever he goes but unfortunately Holloway might decide to take some time out to recharge his battery before getting back on the manager/Coach merry-go-round.
He's taken some right grief at clubs over the years from his employers but never walked away at the first sign of trouble and for that I join the ranks of football supporters who admire the way he goes about his business.

Wasn't he Millwall manager when we beat them in the FA Cup to face Chelsea in the next round ?

Don't really see what Holloway has done in recent years to inspire this optimism. He's been terrible in his last three roles

Working with a much reduced budget, he got QPR higher than the previous season and brought youngsters into the first team. Isn't that what we are looking for a head coach to do or am i missing something.

He has a cracking sense of humour though. That would definitely come in handy.

If his previous two posts had been any good then fine. But they weren't

I can't believe that rational fans think he would be a good choice.

If we went by that assumption nobody would employ old managers. The facts are there from his last job, the facts i've laid out proves the job he did this season was a success. Now i'm not saying either way that he should or shouldn't be our manager but you cannot deny he did a good job under tough circumstances at QPR. And what he did mirror on a smaller pretty much what our owner are looking for, bringing on youngsters on a reduced first team budget and to get us higher in the table.
