Ferguson knows the lower English leagues and particularly young players. I’d rather have him over a dodgy European coach who will know very little about League 1 any day.

Interestingly if the scenario @How describes is true then all this speculation about nobody wanting the job and us being turned down by everybody is rubbish. Grayson apart first choice

 

If it is Ferguson ( not certain ) , wonder if his dad would have a word and " lend " us some up and coming Man U kids ? . To be fair it's getting rather boring all the speculation, nearly every manager in Europe as been linked so 1 or more ITK posters will eventually get it right .

The owners are delivering a "change" to the club. Change for some is exciting for others it causes stress and worry and then you lose their goodwill and support for the change deemed necessary. It needs to be managed very professionally and a key function is communication. There has been some effort on behalf of the owners but the situation they have found themselves with a preferred candidate for the coaching position has made it difficult. It will be interesting to find out why this cloak and dagger situation materialised and some of the negativity it has caused - before we know who it is. Fingers crossed it is someone that will "coach" the team to some success and get all the fans behind the club.

I am not sure if his dad is well enough to have any input at the moment I haven’t seen any updates on his condition but his illness was very serious

 

Not sure Dave , but the " fringe " players ie Rashford--- Pogba --- Marcel, would fit in nicely at VP .l

 

I was asking about his son's time at Peterborough, I didnt read about him doing Posh any favoures ?.
