Head Coach rumours

I heard they have been preoccupied in conversations with Mason. They haven’t had time to dedicate to finding a successor to Grayson because they’ve been trying to find a reason to ‘offload’ the Chief Operating Officer.

Like I say, just a rumour and probably bull, but you know what it’s like around here

 

I'd have thought finding a head coach would've been first priority over everything else but who knows with these two clowns.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest but I also think the Holiday season will almost certainly be playing a part in an delayed appointment.
I know you can communicate from anywhere in the world but a face to face must be on the cards if thats not already taken place.
You can agree anything verbally, it's the infamous U-turn you have to be weary of and we have a track record of them in player negotiations alone.

 

It would be nice to read something other in stories than A isn't interested, B is not on the radar, and so on! It is more than a little worrisome.

On the 2nd June, nearly two weeks ago, Edin claimed the search was nearing an end. Clearly he believed he had his man.

He still hasn’t appointed a head coach.

And yet happy clapping thoroughly nice chaps still believe that it’s the club that are being thorough, they’re taking their time and not that nobody wants the job.

Of course I’ll be asked where my evidence is, to give the inside leg measurements of those who turned down the gig, but there’s no denying this delay isn’t in Edin’s plan.

 

I'm fully expecting a German coach to fill this role.
Not that it matters, we'll still be as un-successful next season.

I am of the opinion that we're missing a trick here in not going for Hopkin.
If only Rack and Ruin would take advise, drop this silly business model before we're playing Guiseley, and give DH the traditional managers role. However, saying that we may have had PP, SM or SG still here.

 

Seriously I am expecting just about anybody to walk through the door. This is Rahic decision, if he gets it wrong, well.......

 

If people are turning them down due to the Model ,surly anybody with any sense would look at themselves and revise what there doing....or maybe not !

Not a chance they'll change course.

 

Then if thats that's the plan (I hope I'm wrong.) it's going to be a long hard season.

Even the T&A are straining not to say that it’s being turned down by Hopkin. I’d love to know what Edin really thinks at this stage and how much his pride is getting in the way, seems like he’s doubling down on “I know football”

The only thing I take notice of in the media are those quotes within "speech marks" - as if quoted, Gospel.

The stories going around at the time was we had Paul Heckingbottom targeted but he wanted time out, if that was the case we must have approach Paul or otherwise why would he say he wanted time out.........if he applies for other jobs in the immediate future that would suggest it could have been Bradford City he turned down.
But then again the arguement might be he's had enough time out and wanted to get back into football.

 

Sense,being the operative word of course, but in this case theres a distinvt lack of it.
