City have locked the interviews of our new players behind the Bantams membership scheme.

They don't say much really other than what you'd expect them to say. Happy to be here... as soon as they heard the interest, they wanted to come... amazing crowds and atmosphere... can't wait to get started...

Interesting to hear the bit about looking forward to developing under GA. Liking the style of play.

 

A mate of mine is a QPR fan and sent me this re Ashby:
He was poor for us and not upto Championship level. He was infamous during one of games where he was so bad that he was taken off as a sub, and after that game he never played again. However at the start, he looked the part, had some nice touches, and it couldn't have been easy playing in a chaotic team with an ever changing back line. Good luck!

 

That doesn’t sound good. Let us hope he has got over that episode.

 

This bit doesn't stack up at all as he started their last 5 games including playing a full 90 minutes twice. It looks like the game where he was a subbed sub was Hull late January then he was a bench player or a late sub until the last 5 games when he started.

 

Very promising at the time, was offered a contract, but allegedly 6k a week was "derisory" according to his agent, so went to the "Richest Club in the World". City could be the Club to re-start his career, but I'd hope they wouldn't be paying his wage.

 

What would you say were his best attributes as a player?.. something we can look out for?

 

In U21s always looked strong and quick. Definatly wing back than full back. Decent crosser. Played a few times in the Europa things as a sub, looked good. Could be a nice signing.
