What a debut that was. If i remember Burke and Evans also had good debuts that season, wasn’t it away at Barnsley where we battered them in the last twenty minutes?

I can't disagree with any of those comments @Aireboro Bantam, but wouldn't you find it just a little strange if you'd have been the manager of Bradford City and found out after the event Billy Clarke had been sold without your knowledge, although to his credit Stuart did say it was good business.

 

Was it good business though? We got about 100k for Clarke (fair enough good money) but we didn't exactly put it to good use did we? We'd have been better off keeping him

 

That is a different issue @bantam2708, some will argue it helped fund the likes of Reeves, McCartan, Poleon.
