Let's stop the daftmess and get serious then. How many clubs would have genuinely sold over 3300 this season? (Assuming they're given E block and another 500ish tickets on top.

Barnsley and Town potentially. Bolton probably but other than that there isn't another team that's actually sold the current allocation this year and given we're a new ground to some on this division I doubt we'd see an increase in numbers next year.

If we go up, perhaps there's a conversation to be had after the first season if we also successfully stay up but I'd bet that in the Championship we're pretty much selling out the home ends on the bigger games anyway just like we do at this level.

How many times have we sold out the home end this season? For the aways - Barnsley, Town and you can bet Bolton will sell out too. Next season, Sheff Wed and Leicester could be two more, assuming we are in L1.

Championship there should be no conversation about it.

Huddersfield, Barnsley, Wigan and Stockport all had limited home seats available and required some ground reconfiguraton to make extra home seats available. We should also note that the last two didn't sell out the full allocation which hampered home capacity so by your thought process we should have actually REDUCED the away capacity on those occasions.

We've also had over 21,500 in twice against two teams that also didn't sell out, (Blackpool. Cardiff) and a further 3 20,000+ (Luton, Orient, Burton) crowds where again, the away ends weren't exactly bursting at the seams.

It's fine you suggesting we should just drop our knickers and grab the cash of every travelling fan possible but it makes no business sense long term. The club should absolutely retain at least some decent availability of home seats wherever possible so that the home support can be allowed to continue to grow further (if that's possible) although I partially agree that it does need to be balanced alongside business needs.

Completely agree mate, i'll be honest i don't think there is anything you can do with that footprint without knocking down houses and spending what would be a lot of money for little reward in terms of expansion. Shame as it really lets the stadium down, that and the unfinished main stand.

I've been reading and posting on this and the previous board since Reece Burke came to you on loan, and it's a recurring issue, you have to wonder what peoples own homes are like.

100% . Add to that , unless Gibb pays for such work , why should City develop ( for £m’s ) something they don’t own ? It’s a different ballgame to delaps ( stadium upkeep ) .

Eh, it’s far easier to “ sellout” 2,700 than the other 22,000!

Clearly not Kevin as only 2 clubs in the entire season have managed it and it's probably the two closest clubs to VP!

Perhaps some want us to cater for playing Man U on Tuesdays and the occasional Leeds fixture on Saturdays . No idea why the club and its fans need to be stressing over it at this stage ? The only real time would be when the terraced houses on Lupton St, Cornwall Terrace are demolished at the end of their natural life, otherwise it’s a pipe dream , unless of course some benefactor builds us a new stadium? I’ll get mi coit.;)

Just renewed our 3 in the "away end". Hopefully the away fans will understand.
