It will be interesting to see what kind of team Alexander puts out tomorrow night.

For me I would go as strong as possible, with the way the fixtures are scheduled this season there's not a midweek league game until the start of October which is after round 3. I would use to get more game time for the partnerships and get players used to playing with each other. Also get a win tomorrow and with a bit of luck in the draw we could get a money spinning tie against someone like Newcastle or Everton before the transfer window shuts.

I don't think it will put off any club from trying to get either of them if they play tonight as i don't think it would be that valuable to them and also there's a change the club could be out tonight or in 2 weeks time.

When I check forward to 7.45, it’s showing Preston NE v Sunderland as the live game.

I'd like to see the same team as MK Dons. Especially the defence. Better they get used to playing together this season. We can always make subs if needed but pick the strongest team and try and win the match.

5 changes with Oliver, Richards, Oduor, Shepherd and Walker in. Looks like Oduor is ahead of Pointon for the back up left of the midfield 3 which does surprise me as I thought he might be one of the player we would look to offload but seems Alexander likes him.

Smith not even on the bench again tonight after heavily featuring in pre season it seems he hasn’t impressed in training or he is on his way

 

It's fair to say, unless injured, that Gilliead, Smith and Stubbs are not in his plans if they cannot make a 9 strong bench.
