    One thing that McDonald and co deserve credit for is executing a game plan. On Saturday, we limited their wide centre-backs and removed them from the game for large periods which must have been tactical, so the management team must have done their homework. Tonight, we are clearly using the pace and placing diagonal balls for the wide players and Smith to run on to, which again seems to be a tactic where we have looked at how they play.

    Under Hughes, we just did the same thing every single game, regardless of what the opposition did. Even though this game means very little, the effort from the lads has been obvious to see. Very impressed with McDonald and co

    How wasn't their lad sent off? The referee had a mare there. Both of them should have walked. I guess that is why he is reffing tin pot trophies on a Tuesday night.

    Was hard to see why but probably as Donaldson said on commentary, it was overly aggressive. He didn’t touch his face or neck based on what I saw on the iFollow, so seems harsh but ultimately it was stupid of him.

    Grimsby lad’s foul was poor and was always going to get booked and his reaction alone also probably deserved the same card as Osadabe.
