Friends of Wallace are now saying the reason for his disgusting behaviour could be down to undiagnosed Autism.

Having a lovely very close family member who is autistic, I find this excuse very insulting. I trust Wallace doesn't now go down this route in his defence.

 

I work with autistic kids every day. They may say some inappropriate things inadvertently at times or be quite blunt but they soon learn what's appropriate.

As an example, I told a child that they were born in the same month as my youngest and they said something like, you must have had sex with your wife in September 2014. It didn't take much to explain that we don't talk about people's sex lives.

There's no way that Wallace could get to his age in that industry without knowing what's appropriate conversation and what isn't. Being autistic doesn't give you a free pass.
