He's turned things around remarkably they're the form team going into the last few games.

Absolutely baffling what Hughes did. I'm embarrassed that I backed him at the time, thinking he must have a great plan. He didn't.

 

I'll never understand it, he'd got us playing some half decent football and the crowd were behind him right till the playoffs, then he bottled those and tried to then reinvent the wheel. When in essence we should have been at least nailed on for the playoffs.

 

Talking of managers, Steve Evans has just left Stevenage for Rotherham!

 

Could work out nicely for Oliver could that.

 

No surprising he's taken the easy way out rather than trying to go again with Stevenage now that he knows he can't get them into the play offs this season.

 

Alexander wants wright and oyegoke back next year as they fit the profile apparently ......

not for me Personally I think Wright has been crap since he came back and was definitely Sparks trying to win favour, and I'm not overly convinced in Oyegoke despite a very slight upturn recently

 

Wright can be very effective but was unfit when he rejoined and has generally looked a little disinterested compared to his last spell. Oyegoke totally agree - can't see where he excels positionally tbh - not shown it as a central defender, wingback, nor a midfielder.

 

Not sure taking Rotherham on is the easy option, he had a very successful career at Rotherham IMO the fans will expect a promotion next season.

 

Well that's one way of looking at it. The other is he's left to go to a club that will give him more financial backing than he would get at Stevenage. Shame he didn't come to Valley Parade, a good bet he'd get us promoted.

Alexander has said he wants to bring Wright and Oyegoke back next season..... yep, now we can sack him.

 

Under Alexander we will make the playoffs next season. Happy for you to save and screenshot and if i'm wrong i'll donate our points total in pounds to charity.

 

Not good enough. A weaker league next season so we should be aiming for autos.

 

This clubs aim should be automatics in league 2, especially with the big spenders that are leaving. Playoffs is a lottery, the strategy of aiming for them is simply not good enough.
