I'm not sure it will give him much credit due to who the wins were against Rotherham who are in awful form and Port Vale who are even worse, any team looking for promotion should be getting 6 points from them 2 games comfortably. If they get a win tomorrow then against Lincoln then they will do more for him.

No … They haven’t beaten anyone of note and only Stevenage to date whilst in the top 8 I think. Thats their fans beef!

Lee Grant sacked. I presume we will have a stand in manager to face unless Owner has been planning in the background.

From the outside this seems really harsh. Don't know how they have been playing, but their results don't appear to have been too bad on the face of it.

Since December they lost narrowly to top of the table Cardiff (2-3), before draws with Northampton and Wigan (both 1-1), then beating Rotherham (3-1), Port Vale (5-0), Northampton (2-0). In the new year, they started with a couple of draws against Lincoln and Exeter, and lost to Stockport in the 96th minute. Obviously they lost to Burton yesterday, but then again Burton also turned us over at VP and looked decent that day. So that's 3 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats out of those games... hardly lose-your-job material you would think?

Grant is a young manager and hasn't even had a full transfer window.

However Huddersfield fans never really seemed to take to him from the word go so I think fan pressure has got to the chairman (he is constantly tagged in posts whenever they have an indifferent result).

All in all it seems a bit chaotic over there, but perhaps harsh to us outsiders. Let's hope we can strike when they're down and come away with 3 points next week.
