I agree - he’s a bit raw which is a worry but he’s committed and passionate

Good half. Costello has looked bright and seems to be improving. Suggestions that he and Cook are starting to form a bit of an understanding.

 

Good first half another would be nice or better still another clean sheet, this lot like there long ball to Hawkins but Stubbs & C0 dealing with it so far.

The lads petulance is a bit of a concern. Got booked at donny for angrily slamming the ball down when the throwing went against him, and was extremely lucky not to get booked today just before half time when the offside went against him

Needs to cut shit like that out, sharpish

 

Well done City. Started with energy from the start which is exactly what we needed. Have been up for the challenge. Not the prettiest game at times but we've had more attacks and Walker has been finding good space. Some decent crosses into the box. All round a good performance.

First ten minutes of the second half will be critical. Need to start the second half the way we started the first.

FFS, did you just wake up from a long hibernation and think we're still in the Premier League? Really solid, battling away performance at a side who've been in excellent recent form. Did you think we were just going to pass them off the park and blow them away? Your unremitting negativity is incredibly tedious

 

Walker playing brilliantly, defence looks solid.
Costello putting in work with his runs, we’ve let too many of them fizzle out though without an attempt at an end product.
