I suspect GA has decided he cannot fit Pointon into the side,no matter how good he may be,and sadly I think Pointon may have played his last game for City,and he will be gone in Jan.Best we can hope for is he only goes out on loan.He is out of contract at the end of the season,it's not looking good for him here.

 

Baffling how we’re short of attacking options but choose to drop Chapman, Pointon and Wilson from the squad all together. Surely better alternatives to the likes of Derbyshire, Osadebe and Odour?

 

Surprised by Stubbs not playing. Expected Tomkinson and Stubbs but suppose Platt and Kelly wouldn’t deserve to be dropped.

Bench looks cautious as others have mentioned. Disappointed to see Darbyshire ahead of Chapman.
