Give the lad a chance and the team , getting sick of the defeatist vibe that's doing the rounds , either support the team or go watch another club. I've been a city fan for 40 odd years and followed them through good times and bad , but I will continue to support them whether we win ,lose lot draw . I couldn't care less what the owners have done , at the end of the day we go to watch our team and if the glory hunters don't like the way things pan out then go cos the true fans will still continue to support the club .

 

You know there is, but if you want to be taken seriously you need to be more factual with your posts. Too many people see you as the comedy clown on here.

Since the bids he hasn't played and says he has a knock.

He was in the team and played 45 minutes at Gusieley, did very little during those 45 minutes looked to me like a player with other things on his mind.

 

We are in need of forwards and if someone who has scored goals for a pretty poor side is available then he's worth a shot. Especially if he is young enough to improve with us. He's there to score goals but any player who comes with a reputation of giving 100% every game has to be a welcome addition.

If it is a season long loan then Miller will be entering the last year of his contract at Middlesborough next summer. If he has a strong season with us, and with Middlesborough aiming for the Premier League, then we could be in a strong position to complete his signing permanently. Its a good chance for him to further his career while we get the best look at him.

 

Problem with that is if he has a good season with us then he prices himself out of a move to us. Which player did we last sign permanently for a fee after impressing on a loan spell? Answers on a postcard.

Reid went the opposite way. We signed him then sold him and loaned him back.

 

Am i missing something here? We didn't sign Proctor or Halliday permanently.

 

Andrew Davies? Can't think of any others we signed after a decent loan spell with us.

 

I see the point but it was a tactic that Parky used a fair bit when players were approaching availability - Davies, Atkinson, Ravenhill, Dolan, McMahon. Circumstances obviously different with these players to Miller but if Boro secure promotion (they should be up there) then Miller will be available. This way we get a good look at him while he also bolsters a pretty weak looking set of forwards for the coming season.
