Ran to the half way line to take a free kick late in the game
Passed it sideways to Stones I think and scampered back to his goal

Twice I think that happened....Southgate should round them all up and bring them home.. they obviously don't want to be there ...

 

Maybe he wanted to show he too is highly skilled in the art of sideways and backwards passing

 

I don't know what to make of it, but we almost made Scotland look good .....

Have you watched any Premier League football for the last three seasons?
His tackling, interceptions, ground covered and long passing stats were all either top of the PL or near it when playing for West Ham in 22/23. He also led them to their first trophy in over 40 years.
He massively improved Arsenal’s midfield last season. He’s head and shoulders the best English DM playing today. And actually, he’s so much more than just a DM. It’s not his fault he’s being asked to play in a totally unbalanced midfield setup by Southgate. Yes, he played poorly on Thursday, but no worse than plenty of the others. He had a really good game against Serbia.
