Mullin not having a good record in league 1 is down to his ability not his character. If he had a bad character he wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes with Parkinson, instead he played over 170 games playing huge part in 2 of the 3 promotions.

There’s no denying his contribution in spurring Wrexham from non league to L1 but he played little part in their promotion to the Championship and obviously fell out with Parky because he wasn’t in the team when he thought he should be.
But again that wasn’t my original point which was he chose a big pay day at Wrexham instead of trying to prove himself with Cambridge in L1 for at least 1 season. I don’t like that characteristic.

Sarcevic left L1 Bolton for NL Stockport.

He put himself and his family first whilst becoming a fan favourite, I struggle to see what part of that is a bad characteristic. I've not seen anything to suggest he feel out with Parkinson, this sounds like a club have outgrown a player which is to be expected when they've had the rise he did.

    Completely different scenario.
Sarcevic didn’t ditch a team he’d just won promotion with and certainly not for more money.

He got promoted with Bolton and left them 3 months into the season for money bags Stockport. He didnt leave them for less money....he dropped 2 divisions so there was definately an incentive!

Ok fair enough if I’m wrong on certain facts but the original point someone made is that we’d have zero chance of signing Kenny who’s at Bolton if we go up and they dont.
The only reason he’d choose to stay at Bolton in a division lower would be for the money.

Exactly the same as 99.99% of players who have ever played the game then.

There often seems to be plenty of space on the right hand side of our defence.

The other thing is that Wrexham have always signed players one year ahead of time too. They signed League 2 players in National League to get them up, then they brought in League 1 players to get them out of League 2. In League 1 they signed Championship players to get them up. Mullin and Palmer were then pushed aside but in a normal League 1 team they would have been able to cut it. Wrexham have just improved so much, so quickly.

Mullin lost his place after puncturing his lung on a tour to America which also did him no favours.
