Might even have been a completely random event at half time. We have nearly 600 on and we are averaging about 70% on cpus and 600MB of RAM spare which is plenty

 

It must have been a random event which took a long time to.recover! I was turfed our when halfway through posting just as Baldwin was been sent off. I couldn't get back on until just before the start of the 2nd half and after having attempted to 'Reload' per the error instruction on several occasions. The site seems to be losing its robustness and ability to cope with the extra traffic in these situations.

 

It took a bit of time because of the following

1. I went to make lunch as it was working fine even with the influx from the red card
2. I then tried to work out what was going on when I returned
3. I then needed to restart mysql (the database) to resolve it but I wanted to do a graceful shutdown which means it tries to finish all queries first rather than end them part way through. To make that possible I had to shut the web server down and then do a graceful restart of mysql which took a a few minutes. Then I had to restart the web server
