    Yep that's more or less what he said. He specifically mentioned Chapman and Odour doing well midweek in central positions and deserved their place in the squad, which is fair enough. But nothing was said of Osadebe, so I do wonder why he's got a place over Pointon who's been a standout player for us.

    Just can’t see any reasoning for having Osadebe as sub over Pointon.
    Admittedly he’s looked a bit off it in the last couple of games but Osadebe hasn’t looked on it at all this season.
    Strange decision indeed.

    It is the ultimate head scratcher. I'll eat my words re Taylor Saturday gone but not to have Bobby at least on the bench is a little baffling.

    I agree he should be on the bench, but in place of one of the centre backs rather than Osadebe. Unfortunately in this formation he doesn't get in ahead of Walker or Gilliead. I would have liked Wilson on the bench too but looks like GA wants to play tighter

    Osedebe is cover for right back/wingback. Bobby P is almost painfully one footed - his left - so if Halliday gets injured and we are under the pump (which hopefully not) you wouldn’t want to rely on Pointon defending at right back.
