Yeah Dave Barrow lovely resort on the coast. First game away would be grand on the Corn Dolly Bus .
Andy would probably like to stop off at Ulverston the Laurel and Hardy museum and I’m sure we could find a nice establishment for a tipple.

Not bothered but if away travel allowed I want to do Barrow, Carlisle, Hartlepool, Tranmere and Harrogate.

Never understood the we play everyone twice so why does it matter school of thought?

In my opinion it matters a lot, start the season with one win and a draw from 5 tricky fixtures and you may already be 9 or 11 points behind someone. A good or bad start can make a hell of a lot of difference.

Look to the premier League and ask Norwich fans if they're happy just to get the first four games out of the way or not

 

Technically yes. But they don't have the same appeal as a weekend on the South Coast of England.
I don't mind if we get some of the longest trips in mid-week. Due to work commitments I've not been able to get to many mid-week matches both home and away so iFollow has been a godsend over the last few years.
I much prefer trips to Barrow Rochdale et al on a weekend when we can take a good following.

 

Yes but you'd prefer to be playing on a Tuesday or Wednesday night I'm sure.

 

Couldnt give a monkeys who we play first game, second game, 16th game , 33rd game or last game ? Its all three points for me or should be, they're all pub teams So if its the Monkey Hangers for the first "round" I'm going 4-0 and three from the Right Angol !

 

As the first game is away it would be good to have someone with a big away end as I'm sure demand will be high (as long as we don't have delta variant plus XL destroying all the plans).
