    Reading a few threads on here has me held in some doubt as to whom I'd prefer.

    I'd like to avoid any of the promoted clubs (the momentum factor), but would not be averse to facing any of the relegated teams.
    That said ............ BLACKPOOL Away would guarantee a packed Town, and house ! ;)

    Yeah, Blackpool or Fleetwood away would be a great way to start the season off and bring the fans together for a good day on the lash.

    Roll on Gillingham at home then.

    Shrewsbury home or away with Paul Hurst likely to go and feeling down after losing PO final would be a decent game to start with.

    Only 2 League 1 grounds I've not been to are Portsmouth and Plymouth.

    Selfishly I'd like Portsmouth away to be City's first game, then Plymouth away in October. Then I'd have a weekend in Plymouth to celebrate my 70th birthday.
