Notts spanked us a few times, but we could have had far worse results in 23/24 without Richie IMO, especially when we went over a month without a permanent gaffer and then had to completely change tactics under GA.

If you mean last season, I wouldn't say we were a poor side last season!

 

Halliday gives us much more positives than negatives...

 

Yes totally agree , I was referring to 24/25, he was outpaced regularly during the 90 at their place however , Abbott and McGoldricks movement had him all over the place . Hence the battering where he couldn’t provide that protective shield infront of a “ weakened” defence. But yes a great season on the whole.

Hi All

Just wanted to come back on here to say thank you to all the City fans that came across to the game on Saturday. In a crowd of 1688 we'd sold over 800 away tickets digitally and there were a good few more that paid on the gate - we estimate there was around 1000 city fans based on our own home ticket sales.

It was great that both sets of fans could mix and enjoy a few songs together - "we all hate Leeds scum" seemed to be quite popular for some reason

We hope you all enjoyed the ground and the facilities. It's been heartwarming reading a number of comments from City fans saying how much they liked what we had to offer - the choice of beers, the different food, the live band etc. I'd also read and spoke to a number of City fans who had visited our club shop and our pop up shop and had purchased our shirts. Thank you for that.

I had a good chat with Davide Longo and also give him a mini tour. Davide also kindly came down to our live band event and spoke for 5-10 minutes alongside one of our members to talk about their individual clubs.

The feedback our manager, Mark Beesley got from Graham Alexander was that the team and staff were also impressed with the facilities and the pitch and at various levels there's talk that we may be able to do something again in the future - maybe even next pre-season.

Our head of security also commented on how well behaved and friendly you all were too and it's great to hear things like that.

Thank you once again. If you have any feedback that you think would help us for any future visit or just to help improve our ground and facilities, i'm all ears and will take it on board and share with the rest of our team.
