I would take Hunt for sure.

I Have a feeling GA sees Neufville as more of a wide attacker than wing back and Hunt would compete with Halliday for the wing back role If signed.

 

He looked a bit tilted but let’s see if he can straighten himself out before season starts

 

It sounds like Richards might not be back until the season starts as he recovers from the hamstring surgery. If he doesn't go to Austria then I'd say we are looking at least another month out.

I can see Baldwin having a big fight to get a starting place back. The Blackburn cup game could come at a good time for him and give him a chance as that will be his first game that he's available for

 

I wouldn’t go getting carried away over who did good or poor in a meaningless friendly. It’s a training exercise to get fitness up, nothing more. I predict non of the trialists will sign.

Id say Humphrys, Cook, Swan and Kav are enough for 1 position.

 

I agree I can't see us getting another forward in.

GA did say 2 loans...deffo one for CM. The other is anyones guess.

Isn't Humphry more of a wide forward?

We're short on quality. Kav wasn't great at L2 level and I question whether he can step up. Cook is 35 and fresh on the back of an ACL, Swan seems like squad filler.

 

Totally agree, we always seem to fall short of the defensive central midfielder and striker recruitment and I don't know why that is.

Different management, ownership, recruitment teams and always the same issue.

A good striker and DCM and I'd rank this as a very, very good transfer window.
