It was a two part question but they seemed to only focus on the Cook point.

Yep appreciate that, but in general what do people want or expect to hear? Thankfully some good questions have followed since.

 

GA did not sound too impressed answering the Hump question at first.

It's why I was glad he left early in the window rather than dragging it on. I thought Alexander answered it well and he was right that putting Cook on the bench for a token 5-10 minutes would have been ridiculous in the middle of the season when every point could be vital.
Even the question about why was it a loan rather than a permanent is a bit of a silly question for me as it's not too hard to work out, Cook will be on big wages and he's 35 coming back from an ACL injury, I don't see why anyone would pay a fee for him unless you are a Salford etc how don't care about paying a small fee to get him in now rather than the summer. Options were always going to be limited as we all know Cook doesn't want to move too far away from Newcastle which ruled out lots of teams even if they wanted him and would pay a fee.

The questions are embarrassing.
All 4 on the forum should be getting praised to high heaven but instead they are made to feel like they should defend things that individual fans have a gripe about.
Piss poor.
I can't thank all 4 of them enough.
We are a solid top end lg1 side.
I've only been able to say that or better in 10 years of my nearly 40 supporting the club ffs.
Some of our supporters really have delusions of grandeur

Youve hit the nail on the head here, some of our fans really are living in cuckoo land. Its like Sharpe says “enjoy the ride”

 

So my lad who was listening, said absolutely no chance of buying the stadium back as the two parties are miles apart on price
No cost mentioned though

 

At least with the MBanq deal we should have more ambition and impetus to go up the levels as it sounds as if their 'sponsorship/investment' increases with a promotion which one would hope could help with staying there.

 

Sparks said the club will be extending the lease of the stadium for another 25 years !
