Lockdown starts Thursday, only Elite sport can continue so do we get a bye?

 

The Football Association says it is "awaiting further information before we can confirm how this may affect non-elite football across England".

 

Elite is classed as national league north/south and above so should be fine.

The report I read said there were nine teams still in FA cup not covered by the Elite Sport, so I just presumed they were one of them

 

They were at Bolton and at Barrow yesterday. Two reps are apparently attending Tuesday. I had a chat at HT yesterday, they are over the moon "..at your fans generosity, pity they can't come and have some of our hospitality". The lad who has seen our two games is likely to be replaced by the Manager on Tuesday, "we're taking it very seriously". I repeated their fans hopes on this thread that we would keep it under double figures and it is very clear (won't use his words) they are going to stack their defence and hope for penalties.

 

Double bluff, they are actually laughing their socks off.. !!

 

That's both clubs "stacking" their defence and hoping for penalties then Billy is practicing in anticipation after watching the Bolton and Barrow games they must be quietly confident of at least a draw and when we fail to beat Southend I guess their tactics may change

Why would they tell you their intended tactics?. They are clearly bluffing and If they have been scouting us, they will really fancy their chances of having a right good go, no reason for them to shut up shop

 

Shame no fans are allowed. Would it be possible to do a preseason friendly with them at some point in the future do you think?

Of course they will. They are playing one of the worst teams in the football league, who haven't got a goal in them now Novak is injured. You would be naive to think otherwise.

They will go for it from the off and why not they have nothing to lose
If they find our soft underbelly early enough and score then I am sure they will fancy their chances of hanging on to it on the other hand if we win 3/4 nil (which I doubt) it's no disgrace on them
As if they would reveal their tactics a week before the game naive at best
