Unless the game was postponed and didn’t go ahead on the date advertised then no grounds for refund.

I wouldn’t know, I’ve never returned any tickets for a refund, however I do know friends who couldn’t make re-arranged games or kickoff times moved for Sky and they got refunds

 

yep, that is different because you have been sold a tick er for an event and then the time of it has changed and therefore the contract has changed so the club have to offer a refund

Train is £180 return, maybe I should have took the plunge last week after all.

 

UK rail fares are hideous. In what world would you consider spending nearly £800 on 4x return fares when driving costs £80 (£20 each) and it’s door to door.

 

Not if you are the sole driver. It once took me 10 hours one way ! I agree re train fares though.

 

Just looked at trains and after 17:27 the next train from Exeter doesn’t get back to Bradford till the following morning as it gets into Leeds at 23:29 which is after the last train. So you would need to get a taxi back from a Leeds

 

Used to travel down to crediton Exeter for sales meetings every month and on many occasions I drove there and back on same day.
I struggle to drive one way these days

I used to fly there. Get the 7.00 Flybe flight from Manchester and be in the office there for 9. Just looked and flights are over £200 now... They used to be about £60 return.
