    I'm not sure I'd take £150?

Stop worrying @Bronco@Bronco, he is not going back. We brought him back for two reason, we need our striker and secondly to stop Swindon reaping the benefit of an auto place if we can. Yes everyone has a price, but those two reasons have not changed no matter what Wellens and Power say. They had their chance to put a package together but didn’t. I am damn sure Doyle would want a lucrative contract and want more than he is on now, plus probably 3 years. Then we would want at least £200,000 plus an add on fee if they got promoted. However, now we are in January none of that matters, we are not going to be able to get another striker in, so why would leave ourselves short and help Swindon to get promoted?

My worrying days with regards football and Bradford City are long gone just pointing out the different scenario's that could unfold before the January transfer window closes.
I don't think you can say we wouldn't sell, Doyle has 5 months + left on his contract, I do believe given that situation if Power made us a decent offer £150/200,000 the club would take it, Doyle is back but there are no guarantees he will score goals we have 5 games before the end of this window we will see what Eion offers, I'd be delighted for him to continue his scoring feats and help get us up up as Champions.

Well you're not taking in to fact that they can't afford Doyle's wages. No point them offering 200k then Doyle a packet of Walkers and a Mars bar which he won't accept.

It's done mate.. move on! Swindon can't afford him and we need him to hopefully help us go up.

You're correct I don't take what anyone says seriously with regards Swindon and Lee Power not being able to afford Doyle, it will be done once the transfer window closes.

Ok, we've 4 matches in Jan left .. 4! Starting tomorrow.

By the end of the month we could(should) be ahead of Swindon. Let them suffer wihout Doyle.

We need Doyle and we can't be messing about with Swindon.

seems some Swindon fans get rather sensitive when you mention that they can't afford him....

Then the club says the Bennett lad they want to sign would have to take a 75% pay cut for them to afford him...he's only on 4.5K **so funny

I'm so sure Doyle loves Swindon to the point he'd drop down to a 1.5K a week, right guys?

Yep. The Swindon saga is over.

To be fair, a glance at their forum suggests they know it and are moving on.

Yeah I think most do accept that thankfully, and only a deluded few think he must be going back because he hasn't changed his Twitter bio

Yes can see Doyle, L2s hottest striker signing his last big day on £1.5k a week!!!

They are deluded. Doyle can probably command £7-8k this summer if his scoring continues. Lots of L1 clubs with cash to burn will be circling.

I cannot think of many, if any, league 1 clubs with money to burn on a 32 year old striker

The 3 that come down from the championship could well have a look at him I suppose.

Sunderland are about to sign Karl Lafferty

Plenty of div 1 teams and the 3 that come down will be interested in Doyle.
