Not San Marzano this year. 28 plants, 12 varieties. Some in greenhouse at home, some in polytunnel and some outside at the allotment.
Ailsa Craig, Shirley, Bellandine, Purple Ukraine (a late replacement for Russian Red), Tigerella, Crimson Crush, Koralik, Rosella, Sungold, Auntie Madge's, Cyril's Choice and Sweet Aperitif.

Probably yes, bet her kitchen is as good as her allotment and of course, most of Christmas dinner will be in the freezer end of September.

 

I go up on Christmas Eve to pick the parsnips and sprouts. Carrots and potatoes will be in store in the cellar. I only freeze peas, sweetcorn and runner and French beans and fruit.

 

Out of bed, poor do mate .

Back on subject,its all gone very quiet on the Watt front.His contract offer with City has expired,he has not signed for anyone,and i have not heard any rumors of anybody being interested in him.With clubs returning to training this week,he could find himself on trial somewhere,and end up staying in this division on less money than he would have got at City.Grass not always greener etc.

 

City wont pull the offer because that way we dont get a fee. Our offer will always be there but could be reduced to match parity with current deal - if we have moved on.

Pretty certain he has something lined up anyway.

 

Could be that he's agreed terms elsewhere but the clubs are still in negotiations around the compensation fee

 

Plus on a free transfer you don't become an official player until July 1st so no rush for any club to announce it and allows more time for us to find replacements.
