Nobody makes you post on here @Norman Corner@Norman Corner, not sure your comments with regards Bradfordian's would be missed, you being a high flyer who's a world traveler.

    PS Bradford is a City.

You seem to have disdain for the City of Bradford, Bradford City and anyone connected with the city or club in anyway shape or form Norman, I suspect your intentions on here Norman I really do.

I think we can only come to one conclusion, sadly as much as we remember him as a great Bradford City servant in the past, he's Edin's only employee that has links to the past and maybe Edin believes keeping Greg gives him a bit of street cred.

Maybe Greg goes along with what Edin says and doesn’t rock the boat so to speak and he’s a good one to keep inside for the owners?

Stepped in 3 times now to help out when it’s gone wrong. Once before Grayson took charge. In the summer with Collins and now with Hopkin until he gets his own men in.

You could be correct Greg see's things from the inside and may see what Edin wants but can't deliver it short term, my worry is it's hardly short term the new owners have been here 2 years and this will be there 3rd season in charge and as a club were going backwards.

Despite taking a position contrary to the vast majority on here, I think @Norman Corner@Norman Corner has a valid point, there is a growing tendency to blame Edin every time something happens which someone doesn't like. Such an approach can weaken our arguments and deflect attention from some of the valid points.

    I also agree.

The big picture is clearly flawed and we need rescuing from a poor vision, which IS Edin's fault, but not every miniscule detail comes down to the Chairman.

I do not like Bradford. In that you are correct.

I do think that Mr Bryson got it spot on. "Bradfords place in life is to make every place else look better in comparison and it does this very well".

And yes Bronco I am indeed a traveller who left Bradford, by choice, 45 years ago.

I believe I am simply being truthful about Bradford. It is a cesspit and there is no point in beating around the bush or trying to dress it up any other way.

I would never waste my time trying to argue for Bradford.

The football team (though two bit) I will argue for but I am pragmatic and know what we are....a Div 3, sometimes 4 with aspirations to be more but little history to date that supports those aspirations.

I'm guessing you don't go to many games, which explains your complete disconnect with the fan base and abstract approach.

You see us as a Div 3/4 side because historically we have been; the reality is, we can be so much more. You don't see that because you don't see the club full stop, right?

Kind of overshadows your outlook, IMO.

He's a party to the complete mess we're in. If he really loved our club, he'd leave and be vocal about everything that's gone on. Only then would the weight of fans fury bring about a change of ownership. The only reason I see him still robbing a wage, is because he's looking after himself. With his track record since his return, I doubt he'd get another job anywhere else.

I agree. People saying he can only work with what budget with what he’s got with Rahic but if his hands are tied why doesn’t he walk?

As you say he won’t because he’s happy to collect his wage each month and he can step back and let the manager carry the can

On your first part, I'll be the first to say the City is in a poor state of affairs, but that doesn't warrant some of your previous comments about people who live there. However Mr Bryson was wrong there are bigger shite holes in the country, out of places I've been to recently I'd put Blackpool, Middlesborough, Sunderland, Luton, Southend, Wigan and Gillingham below Bradford. I'd have also put Hull and Salford well below but both have have extensive regeneration in recent years.

Now for the football and main part, our historical position is 11th in League 1, so to a degree you are correct. However that is still above Wigan who have spent a fair amount of time above us in recent and had major success, and also Bournemouth who had never been in the top flight until a few year ago. So why settle for staying in the same crap leagues you always have when you can strive for better, and 20 year ago we proved it was possible as we did in the 80's. We were one game away from the second tier only 16 month ago, why would anyone with any ambition or anyone who actually supports the club be then content with clear regression because that's where we've spent most of our history?
