I hear what you’re saying, but I don’t think the numbers are that poor. I’ll monitor sales throughout the day and try and update a little nearer towards KO, but it’s entirely probable a large surge will purchase today/this evening.

 

Do you know what they were 24 hours before Hull? When I go to the ground there were plenty queuing up for that game.

 

Truthfully, I can’t remember mate.

 

We do seem to have shifted a fair few tickets in the last couple of days. I'm sure the ticket map only had 1 limited section, but now it has 4 with a further one sold out. Looks like 70% of the main stand lower tier will be in use along with about half of the kop lower tier.

As long as the weather isn't like it was last night I would guess a few will be swayed closer to kick off.

 

Can't help but think the October energy price cap announcement this week may be having some bearing on ticket sales. The forecast is that there is going to be a disproportionate increase in poverty in Bradford. We will see.

Hope football does not become a luxury that less and less can afford, but some also saying the price cap is going up to £6k next April, right in the middle of ST sales for a lot of clubs!

Anyone know why they've stopped showing League Cup games on ifollow?

 

Well that's going to be fun. I'll put money on someone else being in our seats when we arrive at 7.30

 

Bonkers that they can't/don't show it.

 

So who do we believe - 'Paul' or Mick Lamb.

Mick told me definitely sold on unreserved seating basis.

Couldn't see any issues last match or anyone arguing about seats, I think everyone accepted it and got on with it

 

I just tried to ring the ticket office to clarify but there's more than five people in the queue so I couldn't be arsed to hang on.

 

Very strange mate. For the Hull game it was most definitely unreserved, although your tickets were for an allocated seat which was on your ticket.
We chose our season ticket seats but there was a lot of confusion (and arguments!) from people who couldn't sit in their allocated seats.
It was then confirmed that all seating was unreserved.

So...........for tonight's game, before we bought our tickets (again our season ticket seats) I checked with Mick Lamb the Ticket Office Manager, and asked him if the game was unreserved seating although our tickets specifically state the Stand, Block, Row and seat No's.
He said that although your tickets state which seats you have paid for, it is actually unreserved seating.

Now..........this for us is not good enough and as I said to Mick, if you book seats for any other event ie concert, theatre etc, you select and pay for your seats, which are yours!
The club need to sort this out one way or another as it does cause confusion and unrest on the day.

Could WetherbyWhaler look into this at some point??

 

I just rang the club. The receptionist spoke to Mick Lamb who says it's unreserved tonight.

The tweet saying otherwise was a mistake, apparently.
