Had a look at the ticketing website. It seems the system is only set up to sell tickets based on block, row and specific seat number. So a lot of folk have chosen C block in the main stand. But this doesn't mean you'll actually sit there. Because it is unreservered seating any one can sit where they want provided they've got a ticket for the correct stand. Its a 'first in best dressed' type of situation. I can see a few fans getting their undies in a twist when they find someone sitting in a seat they think they've booked
What the ticketing system does do is allow the club to see if they're likely to sell out a tier and open up more areas of the ground.

 

Thats actually not the case, because I bought tickets for a preseason friendly against Sunderland and you didn't have to select seats just a block within the stand. This kind of pisses people off because they could do this for the Blackburn game and have no issues as everyone knows it unreserved off the bat.

Nope. Not on ifollow. Audio only. Overseas broadcasters will be able to show the game chosen for live coverage on Sky but that's it as far as I'm aware. I got to watch the Hull game on a Polish subscription channel. However, if you have other info/sources, I'd love to know about them.

 

Can't see Smallwood wanting to miss a game against one of his former teams. Rest him in the Papa John games.
I'd like to see Songo'O and Smallwood team up, with Angol in the 10 and Harrat / Banks either side. Only concern would be the defence side of things.

Yes, I read that too. Very strange that they think we're an overly physical team. They obviously know about Richie Smallwood from his time with them. But, from what I've seen of him, Smallwood doesn't seem especially physical for a defensive midfielder. Neither is Gilliead, nor any of our defenders. Jesus wept, they should have seen Mickey Kennedy!

Just over 4,200 City fans have purchased their tickets for tomorrows game. Blackburn have sold 800.

Possibly 6,000+ in attendance tomorrow.

It was a great atmosphere against Hull - especially in that second half. Here’s hoping for an even better atmosphere tomorrow night and a result to match.

Poor numbers in my opinion from us after the good performance and atmosphere from the last round.

Home cup tie against a decent Championship side and with a chance of further progression.

I know attendances are usually lower for early round cup ties, but expected higher numbers especially as this tie not on the telly

 

I’m going tonight and buying my ticket when I get there,just like I did against Hull City.The queue I was in was a big one and I can see that happening tonight so getting there a bit earlier It may put some more on the gate.
