Lots of 'give him a chance' posts on Facebook - easy to say, but does Bowyer have any intention of putting him in the first team? Don't see how he gets much game time ahead of Zeli, Dylan, Devitt, McCartan, Oteh and Donaldson.

Going to be pretty difficult to give him a chance when it's doubtful he'll even get one.

 

Maybe Zeli wants off? Got to admit, I can’t remember how he got his injury, or what type of injury, and how long he’s out for.
DMH brought in to replace him. Laughable I know, but I’m just not suprised anymore.

 

Doubt it, he'd be lucky to find another club willing to take him on with his injury record.

Zeli - always injured.
Connolly - MLS bound.
McCartan, Oteh & Donaldson - not wingers.

I believe DMH will at least make the bench most weekends. Hopefully he has learnt a lot at Barnsley and improves us. How many signings have we shut down as soon as they're announced? Connolly being one. I'm not saying I'm pleased with the signing but we must give him a chance and not jump on his back at the first opportunity

 

You're right, I want him to fail, he's ruining my enjoyment of watching my team. When you're struggling to even enjoy the wins it gets to a point where you have to accept that the sooner he's gone the better.

 

Wrong audience.

There are plenty of posters on this forum for whom 'enjoyment' is a non-factor.

It's just one game after the other, who cares if it's enjoyable or it improves your day, as long as there's another game the week after.

Bowyer is just the man for those people - he'll sell our best players to make sure we get another season, who cares if it's League One or League Two, season tickets are already bought so it makes no difference now.

Yes, thought he did well when he came on, quite direct and tried to take his man on!!

 

Though slightly annoyed when he looked for the give and go with Mr Henley, whom gave up possession. I don't think he was impressed, given the fact he had the right hand side of the pitch to drive into.

 

So Pritchard, McCartan, DMH, Middleton, three strikers...

No excuses Bowyer.

You could easily play an attacking 7 - but we'll settle for four dedicated attackers on the pitch at any one time.
