Absolutely not a wind up, they're driving the club to make a statement on everything or folk are out with there pitchforks for the owners. Pathetic.

 

I don't do Twitter/Facebook generally, but have been reading some of the comments on both lately and some of the fans on them forms of social media are embarrassing, but I guess it's just the way the world is accepted these days.

Nothing wrong with opinions, but the abuse, insults and aggression used is piss poor.

 

Well this is down to them in my view. Their management of sensitive info is poor at best. Now there is a distinct lack of trust, which will not be repaired overnight. We have also signed a player yesterday and today, and if this had been managed properly everyone would be chatting about new players.

 

Management of what Onside? It put out by a player on social media. The player put this on twitter I think the morning they heard, give up being daft. You're choosing to make a carry on about Colin leaving because it suits your agenda.

 

Absolutely spot on how can the club anticipate what a player is going to say on Twitter. This is about people thrashing about looking for something to bash the owners with.

 

Things being played out on Social media by a clearly emotional 3rd party doesn’t help.. be upset but also remember you’re dealing in confidentiality.. there wasn’t really any need for some of the things posted..

The club should have got on the front don’t and announced it earlier and the Doyle’s probably should have kept their council a little better

 

What agenda? They should have made a statement before Colin had a chance to release information. In fact before talking to Colin, they should have anticipated this on top of everything else, it needed to be managed properly. No they allow it to run nearly 24 hours on social media before an announcement. Good business management have plans on how to release information to cause minimum collateral damage.

 

More reason not to read them, sorry lads if you know what these twitterer's are like don't log on.

No your correct @Park bantam I don't do it on a regular basis I'll see the likes of James Mason and possibly other City players but if it annoyed me as you say it's doing to you guys stay on here, this forum can get tasty at times but the vast majority behave in a civilised manner, I wouldn't give them the time of day reading their guff.

I'd assume the club would usually take the position of not commenting on individual contracts but felt the need to respond. As long as it doesn't go on and on I have no issue with it tbh.

 

Football has been the same for years, no need to change it was unprofessional to put what he did on twitter. What his wife put is a whole different level of unprofessional which escalated the problem.

People know exactly what they might read on twitter, I assume it is not policed by anyone so the more outrageous and abusive they can be and get away with is a challenge for others to trump it, where as on here it would be nipped in the bud by the MODs.
I agree with your above comment and as I've posted before about the likes of Love Island and Geordie Shore, what's that all about, some are no better than dogs on heat, and no I'm not jealous...............honest .

It's not just twitter, there's a few on here. I refuse to not view all the good contributions on both here and Twitter because of some delusional crap.

I agree with you on that point. However, this is on top of months of mishandling situations, yes I agree a lot of fans are over reacting, but that is what happens. Nobody is believing Edin, the constant mixed messages. You have to question what is going on.

Well we all see stuff differently I can't honestly think of one poster on here that is anywhere near what your saying twitter is like, I have no one on ignore on this forum.

Maybe one more reason if I did view twitter I would be selective on who I read.
