I find it quite sad that she feel's its up to her to make these statements.

 

I haven't seen anything yet that has contradicted anything from either side. Everything both sides have said could have happened if the words used are understood literally.

I'd expect another carefully crafted response from Doyle's representative around 'discussion', 'proposal' and such words but ulitmately the representative will be better suited trying to get him a new club so I expect this to die down in a couple of days.

 

She's angry and probably has little else to do. It's thoroughly pointless though although if getting a few new virtual friends makes her feel better then she'll probably continue.

 

I was wondering why she is doing all the running, if they want to say something Colin should do it in my view.

 

Only if you want it to. It's about time people stopped looking for bricks to throw at the club at every opportunity. We have decided not to offer improved terms to a 33 year old league 1 goalkeeper that's all. Funny that some would rather believe the players wife rather than the club.

That is because the trust has eroded with a large section of fans. I have said this before, once the trust goes fans will pick and claw over everything.

Colin's wife doesn't have any history of misleading City fans so it's understandable that people would accept her account more readily as being nearer to the truth perhaps

 

There is obviously more that is going to come out over the next few days on the Doyle position - ideally you would want to believe the Club's viewpoint and side of things but how can you honestly do so without question in the current climate? I would suggest we keep an open mind until we have heard both sides of the story - most important thing for me as I said in another post is that we now need to get the best keeper we can manage to attract as with a largely new defence in front of him this will be a key signing

And why should people believe/ trust the club after all the lies eminating from the club since xmas? . The clubs in turmoil and starting to get a piss poor reputation.

If the club haven't done it by the book they have every right to bring the PFA in, if the club have done it by the book there wont be a case to answer.

Do you realise how much the owners of Brentford, Burnley & Huddersfield put into their clubs to get them out of league 1 & competitive in the Championship?

Our owners won't put anything in. The comparison is laughable.

Transfer fee's are all well and good but quality players want paying wages. Edin pays peanuts. Lawn & Rhodes spent more on wages and we had better players.

9 times out of 10, you get what you paid for.
