I think Vince will make a good Squad member so I hope he doesn’t leave

 

I’m with you on this one Park, I was beginning to think I was the only one but I hope Vincelot stays. Yeah he had a poor second half to last season but so did the rest of them, the season before he was one of our best players. I think he would be a cracking squad player if not a guaranteed starter and he’s pretty versatile too!

 

I'm firmly in the keep Vince camp. But he does need to regain some sort of form. If he can he is still around the first team / bench quality and a serious goal threat from corners and set pieces

 

Someone needs to tell Dom he's been sold so he can update his twitter.

A poor mans Aaron McLean. Really glad to see him gone. Can't think of another striker we have had that fluffed so many 1 on 1's

 

The overall handsomness of the team would massively drop were he to leave, that's for sure!

 

Is that offset by O’Donnell?

 

Hope he's taken Tom with him, too.

 

Just watched his introductory video with Crawley and he's claiming he's had other offers.

haha......had a little drink or two and just catching up. Vince definitely has that "je ne sais quoi". Bit like that bloke Fred off First Dates!

I like the ruthless attitude we've shown this pre season. McMahon was (overall) a successful player during his time in a City shirt and had produced a high number of assists, he was pretty crap last year and they got rid of him. NKP had a successful first season, he wasn't good enough last season and he's now 4th choice Centre Back. Killgallon was player of the year last season and now has heavy competition for his place. Nicky Law is a good player and more than played his part during our Wembley season, he's gone and we've brought in better. Doyle- successful during his time here and we've brought in better. We paid a fee for Poleon last year and could have kept him in the hope he turns it around and justifies his fee, we recognised he wasn't good enough and he's gone. Vincelot wasn't good enough last season and he's no longer a guaranteed starter. It's an interesting comparison with some of our ambitionless fans who would have kept/played half of these based purely on sentiment and past performances. I like the fact that we recognise the dros in our squad and are looking to move forward rather than stand still. It's what the best teams do and is the only way to be successful. I wouldn't be surprised if we were looking to move Vincelot on and even Mcarten if offers came in.

And there we were panicking we were lumbered with him forever.
