    Simply put, no.

When we appointed Collins, I made it clear I wanted someone with experience of management/coaching of 1st team players. I’m sure Jones would be great at motivating and getting the best from his players, but my stance stays the same. I want someone with a track record, even if only for a couple of seasons.

You know you didn’t have to take a driving test in the UK before June 1935!

Mark Bower is pulling up trees at BPA. Clever close season recruitment, good results thus far, good player motivator and coach. Of course, ex- City lad. But honestly, why would he want to give up on his current dream/project with Park Avenue where though he may not have money, does have a lot of support and a club who let him get on with his job, to move into a toxic Valley Parade where his hands would be tied behind his back? Bower deffo has ever-growing potential to be a future Bantams manager. But he'd be a mug to give everything up that he's building at BPA to move to us under the present regime.

He would be good to have around the place his enthusiasm and passion would be infectious. I'd definitely find some sort of role for him but manager, nope

Whilst, I'd be loathsome to lose Bower in my other guise following Avenue, however would he actually want to come to us. Anyone who lives around Shipley or goes through Shipley will know there is an estate agency at Foxs Corner called Bower Hamilton. So any offer would have to be too tempting i.e. money wise for him to give up his other job.

I'd take him on The coaching staff in a heartbeat the guys a leader and just has that ability to drag people along with him but as a manager I'd say no but only because he hasn't got any experience.

It doesn't really matter how many names people come up with its the guy at the top who is dictating the mood of the club at the moment. Never been an Edin hater but he seems to be the one negative constant in all this. Decent managers are unlikely to want the job if he's playing championship manager.

Not only have his legs gone but, after Saturday's comments, his head's gone too. A gladiator on the pitch, but not a coach.
