I seriously doubt it. I think some of my retina has been permanently damaged it was that bright.

 

I dont know if its the angle, proximity to pitch, or brightness, or whatever else, but they cannot install those all the way around the pitch!!

i go to the Etihad lots and never had an issue with their boards

the fact so many fans are complaining tells you this set are not set up right. Down the sides would be less of a problem but i presume the higher revenue is created from placing them behind the goal?

 

These boards need sorting out. I too am in the bottom of the kop and you just lose sight the ball - can’t even see the bloody thing, which totally defeats the object of going to a football match. They need removing or something sorting out as it certainly spoilt the spectacle tonight.

 

They are very off putting ,and too bright .

 

I don't know what it's like at pitch level, but you would think it could affect the ref's view of what's going on in the area.

 

Well we’ve seen those new boards in bright sunshine and also at night, both equally bad.
They need to remove the boards that are directly behind the goal

 

I think the club should review the technical specifications for these boards in comparison with those at other clubs.

Even viewed from the side, we are at the back of Midland Road, it makes things very difficult to see in the penalty box. Which defeats the object of watching the match really

 

Lost sight of the ball in the Bradford End box a few times, thought it was just me. Glad it's not

 

Two on the row in front of me emailed the club at half time. Hopefully they get bombarded with emails and they do something about it

 

and that's another thing....I might have emailed the club if I could get a signal in the main stand

 

I could never get a signal in the kop when on the 02 network. Changed to EE last year as struggling in some rooms at home too. All good now

 

ah..I'm on O2

 

O2 is rubbish. I was with Virgin, who use the O2 network. I could never get a signal in the ground and it was poor at home too. Like @Idlebantam I switched to EE and it’s excellent- like chalk and cheese.

 

I am with ID Mobile. They use the 3 network and that is fine too.

 

Yeah vodafone and 02 dont work at ground, esp at ht.

im on lyca (pay monthly, cheapo) which piggy backs onto EE masts and its brilliant signal now

 

Another one here with useless 02.

 

You will only get them where the cameras can see them for broadcast purposes. At VP, main stand wall and either end . Midland Rd isn’t covered by cameras.?

 

Less bright perhaps and brighter floodlights?.

They need to wind the dial down for sure.

 

Could also be that all home support will observe them plus the majority of away fans?
