    There'll be some sort of pay out I'd guess. I can't see them getting away with only sacking one person (who wasn't even the driver) when the two others involved stay in employment. I just can't see anyway they can justify that to a court.

    if they have sacked him for gross misconduct, as seems to be the case, there wouldn’t be any payout as they are saying he breached his contract and therefore have terminated it.

    we probably won’t as they will not release any more details unless he wins his appeal in which case he will just revert to his original contract

    Derby's legal advisors need replacing. Nearly everyone on this thread thought they wouldn't get away with sacking him with no compensation.
