    The best bit is we seemed to have upgraded on paper at least with the signings made to those that have left


    Rowe for Guthrie
    Canavan for Bre
    Foulds for Longridge (can't be any worse)
    Burrell for Samuel's (again can't be any worse)
    Stevens hopefully DMH goes
    Huffer for cover.

    Another striker and midfielder for me as we needed a striker before we got rid of Guthrie and Samuel's and replaced them with Rowe and Burrell.

    Pleased with this signing. Looked a very intelligent player against us this season and seemed to play the role that Harry Kane does for Spurs, whether that's his best position or not, who knows but it gives us different options. A signing of this ilk at LW now and it'll be a really good window.

    I don't believe when he was originally signed he was any more than a player who would be brought on to do a job after 70 minutes, unfortunately with our injuries he was expected to compete for the full 90 minutes which as you point our he couldn't.

    I wouldn't be so sure on that. First few games under Bowyer it was Donaldson and Vaughan starting up front with Doyle in behind in a slightly bizarre formation. When he was fit, he started under Bowyer.

    We might be in a different world if Bowyer had started with Vaughan and foyle with the don as 20 minutes impact sub.
