Just seen Tyler French is Bower's first signing. Saw a pic of him at their pre season game tonight and thought I recognised the lad he was stood next to and sure enough, it was Danny.
Dundee could become another City b team!

 

Dont think he will stay in Scotland.Isnt he a Bradford lad?.He will find far more non League chances if he came back to this area.

 

He's like a poor Harry Winks.

Problem with him is he is slow and doesn't release the ball quickly but can look good when he is on the ball.

What he needs to do is find a club that wants to play at his pace but clubs now look to play at a high tempo hence why he is now struggling to find a club.

He might be able to find a club but he won't have lots of options.

 

Couldn't get into the Carlisle side, just 14 league starts in two seasons, only 10 starts in his actual position in midfield. Felt like Bowyer might give him a deal up there but seemingly not. Might be a decent move to a Halifax or something like that but cant see him getting a league club again, especially with him turning 25 in a few weeks and never really breaking into a league team.

 

Yes you're right Fordy. He got picked for us originally due to injuries and I remember at the time thinking he looked more comfortable on the ball than I expected. Having said that although he quite often made the right pass he didn't release it quick enough and never kicked on from that start he got.
