I am no fan of Edin. However where does it say the owners were responsible for the loss of the sponsor? That could be 100% true. But it could have been another reason? Unlikely maybe but that wasn’t clearly stated in the post and subsequent assumptions made may be incorrect.
As I started. I’m no fan of Edin but the reason for the loss of the sponsor was not specified.

 

Time will tell I'm not sure Edin can change, he may think some of the stuff he's doing trying to get the best deals from our present sponsors or potencial new sponsors, there is a correct way of going about it and unfortunatly Edin has upset many in his pursuit of better deals, which might be great if your Manchester United but not if your Bradford City where the vast amount of sponsorship comes from local businesses.

 

I doubt it would have been mentioned if it was beyond the club’s control.

 

So people(sponsors) are buying more in to Mason than the club. That's worrying to say the least.

We don't need a yes man right now. We need leaders. People that are going to up to owners and help them.

From what I am seeing as a fan our owners haven't got a clue and for me the sooner they sell the club the better.

Now, i fully understand James has a job and wants to keep it and I am not saying he is a yes man but this club will sink under these owners if the board are not strong enough.

The transfer strategy is an embarrassing to league 1 and finished 11 mainly because of it.

The club is joke at the minute.

13 teams finished below us and some had a lot higher budgets than us ,so to say an embarrassment to league 1 is a little odd . I'm sure Bury , MK Dons, Oldham, Northampton plus many more fans of other clubs would argue the case on that comment and would love to swap places with us. I'm not happy with the way this seasons gone but it's over now so let's just wait and see if the owners have learnt lessons from it and if no improvements made then we make our feelings heard from the terraces.

 

None of them teams got to the play off final last year.

 

Just because we got to the play off final last year gives us a Devine right to achieve it again this season. Every season one of the top 6 teams go on a poor run and falls out of the top 6 places. Coventry and Gillingham in the past couple of seasons have done exactly the same as what we did this season and it will probably happen to a club next season.

Mistakes were made in terms of transfers of that there is no doubt but our strategy is a lot less embarrassing than that of certain clubs that spent massively and ended up being relegated.

Don't know but Grayson only mentioned in post match interview that he would be meeting with Edin to discuss his future. I guess from that I made assumptions Stefan must have returned home but maybe he is still here or maybe he returned home and is coming back again later this week?

 

Coventry and Gillingham ended up in relegation battles the following season, with Coventry getting relegated.

 

Fordy who are these board members ? I doubt the Club Ambassadors have any control over decisions taken by the owners.

 

I wonder if Stephan Rupp is aware of all the grief or is the wool being pulled over his eyes

 

If that's the case, then he doesn't deserve to be involved with us (however minimum) at all. I think it's almost impossible for him not to know. All he needs to do is log on here for 5 mins, read the T&A or the Yorkshire Post, or check the body language of the staff during his time at the ground. Oh - and look at the league table and our stats for 2018. Think that will confirm there's grief at the club!
