    Any good?

    Heavily rumoured to be joining us this January. Local lad, likely just coming to fill the numbers.

    Worrying that he can't get a game for Oxford though.

    Guessing you mean Tony. Performances drifted somewhat in his final season for us but so did everyone else's. He's a character and a good mate of Charlie Wyke. Takes a good set piece and can get decent crosses into the box although I'd question whether he'd still be a top end L1 defender.

    Could be a good squad player for you. Scunthorpe apparently want him as they did January 2018 which would link him up with ex-manager Stuart McCall.

    Yes, Tony - not sure where the Craig came from.

    I'd take a guess that they both played for Boro in the 2010's at the same time and then obviously Bradford. Both from the North East too. McMahon happens to have been born in the same hospital as me and grew up in a town not far.

    Was he? He had a decent cross on him (when he got it past the first man) and provided plenty of assists but defensively I thought he was poor.

    I would rather give Riley a chance than sign McMahon. He was looking like he was past it when we got rid and not being able to break into the Oxford team will have hardly helped him change that.
