    Started the C2C in Whitehaven.

    The coastal path a bit further north is worth a cycle on. Stopped for an ice cream at Allonby on the way to the start.

    Can't remember what flavour it was.

    Morning - the breakfast meeting start time of 09:00 has passed with only one attendee and zero apologies. Seems like it will be dictatorship over democracy.

    Didn’t think we’d ever see a challenger to Ice Station Zebra, Oldham as the coldest stadium!!!
    Any ice cream consumed will be noted down.

    Wrexham was another place I visited, briefly, that was quite unsettling.

    Stopped off on a late Sunday afternoon on our way back from holiday in South Wales. Couldn't find a coffee shop so ended up in a windowless, beige BHS restaurant. The locals, I assume they were locals, just stared at us. Had the feeling that if a photo had been taken, it might just have been us on it.

    Not had breakfast.
    But have just shipped my elderly aunt off in an ambulance. She didn’t remember she had fallen last night, poor thing. Couldn’t bear weight this morning.

    Waiting for an update from my sister - her and her boyfriend are trying an all-inclusive in Benidorm !!! Apparently it was good value !!!
    They’ve got four kids between them - she has two, he has three. There is today’s Maths lesson for the summer holidays.
