Started watching Annika on iPlayer last night, Scottish crime drama. Not bad if a little contrived. Need something easy after finishing Yellowstone.

 

Watched 'Tales From The Riverbank' presented by Claire Balding, the river Tyne episode where she visited the Hjem restaurant in the village of Wall, Hexham. I googled the menu prices. Taster menu £165pp, pairing drinks menu £100pp. I would hope even @millario would baulk at those prices!

 

My mate did the taster menu thing at Heston Blumenthal's quite a few years ago. Similarly expensive but he did enjoy it!

 

You done all the spin offs (1883,1923 etc) as well?

Mrs bbb and daughter became totally engrossed in all of them.

Harley Davidson rally in Baildon this weekend
They all ride out at 1pm to Leeds hospitals
I was going to go watch them set off but I’ve woken up with cold and lazyitis

New school shoes shopping.

 

Went to the Baildon rally from the early 90's until 2008 when we had a Harley, great times although usually bloody freezing.

 

Oh fabulous
I grew up in the village and have always looked forward to the Harley’s visiting. It’s the 46th year this year. Brings a lot of revenue to the local pubs and shops.

 

Maybe ask for a turn this year!!
