I’ve moved onto videos of the Blackpool air show now but it was really interesting

 

What is it?

 

A rotating boat lift. Apparently uses the equivalent amount of electricity to boil 8 kettles on each lift.

 

Telecommunications expert now.

 

Oh yes, I've seen it just didn't remember that's what it was called. Very ingenious.

Long day / evening tomorrow

I'm off to London tomorrow. It's going to be hot. Just checked the times and there was a points failure disrupting all the trains today. Hoping they get it fixed over night.

 

I'm sure you will be very impressed when you see it in action.
The Falkirk wheel and the installation of the Kelpies has led to regeneration of the area.

Going to see the Kelpies as well, right looking forward to it. Heading over to Ft William area after that to see the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge and to revisit an engineering project I had a hand in on the river Arkaig.
